Welcome to the deep water of Scorpio. The very deepest of all the water signs. This sign is ruled by the grown up Mars as interpreted by Pluto the destroyer. The sensual water bird is keenly aware of how sensitive it is and as a result, keeps itself hidden to most of the world. Putting Scorpio in human form, they are one of the acutely dynamic, impressive individuals around. They love to know the outcome of an event or even a conversation before anything starts. Control is their middle name, and this is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does hamper them in moving forward. In the Scorpion stage they sting others, and often because they feel bad, they turn around and sting themselves.

The Eagle soars high above the world as then they can see a new perspective in the ebb and flow of nature, politics and sexuality. The Phoenix is the stage in which they have developed maturity. Scorpio rules sexuality and other peoples money or the handling of others money and possessions. Scorpio is the first of the fixed signs after Taurus and Leo. These are also called the cherubic signs and I don't know why, but I think that it must be because they have the most endurance. Drama is the stage that they would like to be on in most situations. If they can't see drama in their own life, then they will initiate a situation that creates drama.

Scorpio is the second water sign and the only water sign that will fight. You have to really back them into a corner but they will defend themselves and usually win. United Nations Day is on October 24th.

Mercury enters Scorpio on October 28th. Time to get serious and think really deep thoughts. Kidding aside ... Mercury our thinking process and ideas get into a more thoughtful energy.
