As February 18th approaches, I feel the oncoming tide of water that is PISCES. Pisces is the dreamer, visionary, romantic and cosmologist. These visionary souls have an overview of life that is often envied by many. Profoundly intuitive they have the ability to tap into the universe whenever they wish.

PISCES is also the last sign of the zodiac so we can lose all those unwanted habits and let them flow into the water to be transformed by our Mother Earth. She is just waiting for us to release all that unneeded garbage so she can remake it into a more positive energy. She is quite good at that sort of thing.

The emblem for Pisces is two connected fishes swimming in opposite directions. One fish ascends to the outer limits of the universe, and the other descends to the depth of the ocean. These super sensitive souls need to watch what they ingest as their bodies cannot handle things like alcohol, drugs, and sugar very well. My daughter has a Pisces Moon and she is so sensitive to over the counter drugs that she has to take children's doses.

Trust is an important issue for these most sensitive of all the signs. Their boundaries are so thin that they pick up too much information just by walking outside. This takes practice as they have to learn to tune out the negative information so they can function.

Pisces is ruled by Neptune, the god of the deep sea. And just like him, these lovely souls need to go deep into their psyche to find their own depths. It is difficult for them to live in the here and now. They love to live in the past or the future as it doesn't hurt as bad.

They are also the true artisans of the zodiac. They can be musicians, artists and writers, as this provides them with an opportunity to be swept away in their own emotion legally. On the other side of this coin is their apparent ability to get addicted to almost anything in order to escape the pain they feel.

Pisces is a water sign and like the other two, are often indirect and hidden. These souls must learn to cleanse themselves through their spiritual development as a tool for survival. It is the last sign and all the other signs dump through Pisces. Through meditation they connect to everything awakening them to a sense of awe and mystery.
