Welcome
to the Winter Solstice which begins on December 21st. It is
a time of reflection and genuflection. The Sun moving into CAPRICORN,
the sign of the cleanser, brings us almost full circle to bring
in the joy of the holiday season. After the celebration we enter
into a time of deep introspection. It is the longest night and
the shortest day of the year.
Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, expects us to build
a strong foundation from which we can enter the world
and function at a high level of safistication. Capricorn's
are usually hard workers demanding much of themselves.
Their totem is the Goat, representing the climb to
success that these disciplined souls eagerly strive.
Capricorn
has an authoritarian streak in their nature. They
make up one of the three leadership signs, joining
Aries and Leo. They like to work alone and enjoy solitude.

It
is extremely hard for these stoic people to have enough of anything,
money, fame, and acceptance. They are born old and get younger
as they age. They feel isolated and often inadequate, thereby
forcing themselves to attain even more success or money or whatever.
They
are known as the sign of the comedian. The Winter Solstice heralds
the coming of the Redeemer. When Capricorn has a devotion to
something larger than itself they can build something larger
than life. An example of this is Dr. Martin Luther King, a brilliant
Capricorn, who devoted his life to a wonderful cause.
Some
famous people born in Capricorn are:
Howard
Hughes, Stalin, Elvis Presley, Mel Gibson, Carlos Castaneda,
Denzel Washington, Bebe Nerwith, Anthony Hopkins, David Bowie,

What
the Planets are Doing...
The
Sun moving into Capricorn at the Winter Solstice enters
us into a time for deep reflection about what we want to accomplish
in the coming months. It is a traditional holiday for almost
all the world. It is the time we say peace to all. It is needed
in this time of war that we are all experiencing.
January 3rd is the full Moon, with Venus moving
into Aquarius that same day. The Full Moon is a time of awareness
as well as a time to end things that no longer work in our lives.
Venus
in Aquarius can become a bit detached and more solitary.
Friendships can become important.
On January 15th Mercury enters Aquarius. Our collective consciousness
will raise us up a notch. Take advantage and accomplish as much
as you can.
January 16th Mars moves into Capricorn where
it is exalted. Mars performs in a disciplined manner and accomplishes
much. That same day the Moon is in Capricorn letting us all
have a day of waiting for the other shoe to drop, with the conjunction
of the Moon and Mars.

Our normal rate is $3.23 per minute.
