Welcome to water world. The Sun sign Cancer is coming toward us and we are going to have a Lunar Eclipse and a Solar Eclipse during this time. Such fun. Cancer is the original mothering sign and a good nurturer. In fact they believe that they are the only ones that can do the nurturing for not only their family but also everyone else. They truly are the Moon people, being that this is their ruler. They also have moods like the Moon so beware if their mood is less than friendly. Remember that Cancer is a water sign and water is the most powerful element, as it can erode everything around it, as well as the people in their lives. These folk are just as powerful as the water and tides.
The Summer solstice begins now. This is the longest
day and the shortest night of the year. The opposite
is true in the winter solstice where it is the longest
night and the shortest day.
Cancer
is the ultimate feminine energy here, and ask any
Cancer if this is true and they will say YES, Come
home to Mama. They can be smothering to their loved
ones. These loving folks can be moody like the phases
of the Moon. They seem to need to be fed all the time,
whether food or emotional dramas, there is never enough
for the Cancer.

They
will provide the food that is needed at all times. They love
to cook, as this is their way to nurture themselves. They
will provide a safe haven for all to be inspired to greater
ambitions, but don't forget to come home to Mama.
The
Dalai Lama, who is the abdicated ruler of Tibet, is a true
leader of his people in exile. This is the true spirit of
this native, to provide a home for those in exile and removed
from their homes as in war. These loving souls are shown as
the Crab. This aptly fits them as they can be really a crab
at times, especially when they do not get their way. If their
gifts of love are reciprocated, then they are fun loving and
happy. You notice that the crab walks sideways as does the
Cancer native as they lean into you as you walk with them.
I have found this to be true in my own life after having a
Cancer friend, she always leaned into me when we walked somewhere.
Our
country is a Cancer as it was declared a country on July 4,
1776. It is no wonder that we feel like we can be the only
ones that can solve the worlds problems and send help to those
in need. Cancer rules history and the history of everyone's
family. They are great historians and work well in the library
system. The womb of time. They really love things that are
old like homes that they can fix up, as well as old sweaters,
cultures and manners.
Cancer
are so sensitive that they can just feel if a situation is
right for them, or another person, that they are connected
with. It rules the stomach and can get a sour stomach if things
are not right for them or a loved one. This also works for
them as they are great users of this sensitivity making them
very good in business. Scorpio is another sensitive sign that
is as caring a Cancer. Astrologer Jayj Jacobs says that a
Cancer is just a Scorpio in a housecoat. Cancer also rules
the breasts, which is considered a nurturing aspect of our
lives, as the breasts feed the new born child.
Even
men that are Cancers are maternal, they will plant a tree
and guide it along to bear the fruit that they know will occur.
They have to trust that other person before they can feel
comfortable to eat, as they as they are so sensitive as food
is very important to them.

What
the Planets are Doing...
The
Summer Solstice occurs on June 20th when the Sun moves
into Cancer, a time to renew and change from old to new energy.
The New Moon on June 22nd at 12:35 am PDT is
a time for new beginnings. ‘Time to write your goals and
write them as if they have already occurred.
July 3rd Mercury moves into Cancer. Thoughts
will become more home centered and feeling. This is difficult
as Mercury really doesn't like water as it is primarily an air
element.
Venus enters Gemini on July 5th. Now this is
a good time for all of us, as Venus can show the us that love
is in the Air. Abundance can flower which is also important
to us as well.
On July 11th Mars moves into Gemini. Our energy
can get scattered during this time so pay attention and keep
track of things around you. Don't start too many projects.
There is a Lunar Eclipse on July 7th at 2.21
am P.D.T. Lunar Eclipses can help you all let go of unnecessary
items or people or anything in your life that is no longer necessary.
This energy can last a long time but usually ends with the Solar
Eclipse in two weeks.
Mercury is picking up speed as it now enters Leo on
July 17th. Time to take care of just your thoughts
and needs. Leo really loves to focus upon themselves so this
is a time for that to occur.
The Solar Eclipse happens on July 21st at 7.35
pm P.D.T. The focus is to begin anew what we did not do in the
last six months. It is in Cancer so home and family could come
into focus, or the business person can happily emerge.

Our normal rate is $3.23 per minute
