Aries is the first of the fire signs, and as such, has to be recognized as the heat, with which can be a positive force in all of our lives. Mars is the energy that rules Aries so it shoots forth with all of it's might entering the world with little regard for others feelings. That is what you might think they feel but not so. These fiery souls remain the eternal adolescent who wants to know what place they are in their world. They really aren't sure as they need to have a partner to sustain them through life' s hurdles. They need a combat friend, one who will be their ally, and one who they can fight with. Aries loves anything as long as it is lively interaction. They view combat as a form of intimacy, hence a good fight is welcomed. Rules are meant to be broken and Aries loves this aspect of their personality. They really want to be caught so they can be seen as the rascal.

Aries is a black and white personality. There is no in between. You can see why the Arian personality has as its keyword "I AM." This individual rules the head and as it's glyph is the Ram. You can see that an Aries can keep butting their head if they think that whatever they are pursuing is warranted their present interest. They are very single minded which is a nice way to say that they can be self absorbed. Impatience is a word that can be said about the Arian personality, as they can get disinterested quickly.  Aries needs to keep active and if not they become irritable and difficult to be around.  Keeping active will access the finer qualities of the Arian personality.  Usually honest they despise evasion in others.  They come across as fighters but this quality only lasts for  short spurts of energy.  They do not have staying power for a long siege. 

 Aries have a good heart and great spirit unless boredom sets in.  They need constant stimulation or they will create an event that brings them entertainment.  Not necessarily the entertainment that others feel is appropriate at that time. This creates a drama that Aries loves to interact with gusto. Desire is their middle name and they can carry it off with aplomb.  They feel that they are the Hero or the Heroine and as such they can lead the less qualified (to them) on search for the grail.

This is a really big deal. The Sun at the Vernal Equinox enters Aries on March 20th at 4:21 pm PDT. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Get ready people, we will be starting a new Solar Year. At the Equinox, there will be 4 planets in Aries. This can be a very fiery year and the fire has already begun.

March 27th Venus moves into Pisces. She is happy here and the rest of us can be also. This soft energy for the love goddess can bring a lot of us into a better frame in our relationships, and into a more loving time.

March 30th Mercury retrograde starts it's backward motion until April 23rd. This is a great time for reviewing plans, catching up on old business, cleaning out your closets, cabinets, and your garage. It’s NOT a good time to make important decisions, travel, sign contracts, buy electronic equipment or cars, or start a big project. Mercury is strong in Aries, so careful in speaking your truth, as it may not be someone else's truth.

After April 7th things can get a bit more dicey. Uranus is hitting the cardinal cross that happened in August and just might kick up some dust. Maybe not but maybe so. Looks like we will have a lively summer.
