WELCOME to the wonderful world of ARIES. This is the ides of March, as all of our older generation calls it. It also happens to be the start of our Solar year,also called the Vernal Equinox. Now we can start all over again. ARIES is a fire sign and a Cardinal sign which means that during this time Aries will feel like starting something new. It really doesn't matter what it is as long as it is new. This is the time when they feel the absolute best. Their fiery nature just takes over and they want to conquer the world, and they really think that they can.

This sign is ruled by Mars, our energizer bunny. It feels that it needs to realize that it is on the search for its latest new experience. ARIES is the eternal adolescent looking for itself as it experiences life in the fast lane. They have this big need to be first, in line at the counter, in the theatre, and at work. Their need to be acknowledged and in the limelight is so necessary for their ego, that they will do almost anything to have this. ‘You just have to love them as they are truly transparent.

If they are plotting to do something, you can spot it a mile away. Not big on being secret. They also never lie. It is really against their nature to keep their activities a secret and if you ask them if they have transgressed they will be totally honest about whatever it is that they have done.

There is no other sign that is so needy about relationship. They use their opposite sign, Libra, as a sign post to guide them in this endeavor. They are also faithful in relationship. This seems incongruent, seeing that their fiery nature would seem to go from one partner to another but this is not so. ARIES likes interaction, whatever that may be as long as they are the instigator. They also have to be the starter in their need to keep the dynamic going. It doesn't matter to them as long as there is action.

ARIES live to be seen as bad. Loving to break the rules but always loving to be caught. ARIES likes to be seen as outside the limits of our laws but not breaking them in reality. There is also no grey in life for the ARIES... black and white is their standard. The ram is their totem and they are usually butting into whatever is their current interest.

The part of the body that ARIES rules is the head. They are prone to headaches if they are doing too much butting. When accidents happen, their head is usually involved. They need to be very physical engaging in sports or exercise of any kind or they become irritable and or cranky. They have a very high energy level so they can keep up with the best of them. They flare up easily but it is short lived as they can't keep a mad on for very long. If they can't complete a project quickly then they lose interest. They need to become more persistent so that they can finish their latest endeavor. They have a really strong desire nature and love to keep having one experience after another to keep them interested. They seem selfish and they are, so they need training in noticing others needs and not just their own. We can all learn from their exuberance in attacking life. This comes natural to these fun loving souls.

ARIES is one of the leadership signs like Leo and Capricorn. They love this about themselves. In this they can become the more intensive in their way to seek truth in everything in their path of life. They want to do what they want to do without any interference. This is what keeps them so powerful in that they will walk over you to get something important to them, done. In reality they like nothing more than a challenge. They need to learn to keep their power in learning to become inner directed, so that they can develop their soft side and love everything and not want to conquer all in their path.
