It's freedom time again, and WELCOME TO AQUARIUS, one of the signs of freedom. Aquarians have the need to communicate and not to just one person at a time, but to a larger group of people. Or they can be very serious and dogmatic. Interesting that these people can become both,
serious, while the other type needs to be out going
It is ruled by both Saturn and Uranus. Both very different energies and very conflicting energies. It is an Air sign and the symbol is a woman holding a vessel ready to pour waters of a new life. It is a fixed sign which allows them to be rather stubborn, when they think they are right, which is most o the time.
Aquarian's are the sign of the individual as a
cooperative person in a group setting. They are
generous and value social relationships. They really value what a group can accomplish, and work towards that end with enthusiasm.

They
generally concern themselves with the function of the good
in people rather than their own need for good within themselves.
The glyph for this unique sign is two horizontal wavy lines
which sends a message that reminds us of fast moving energy.
The water being poured from the vessel is highly charged and
makes these souls ready for the changes that it brings. Innovative
change is the mark of the liberal Aquarian.
These
remarkable people either feel ahead or behind the time. The
quality of communication runs rampant in the Aquarian, whether
you have asked for information it or not.
Intertwined
is usually the nature of the Aquarian, both traditional and
futuristic. They love groups of people and work well in that
environment. Television and the theatre work especially well
for them as they can reach a larger audience, and they require
team effort besides. The Aquarian is the best of all the fixed
signs as they have a little of each of them within their personality.
The kindness of Taurus, the courage of Leo, the scientific
mind of Scorpio ... All rolled into one energetic persona.
Aquarian's have the ability to transcend thought and put it
into form.
Idealistic
almost to a fault, Aquarian's have a very long attention span
which allows them to integrate many ideas that they either
accept or reject. If it appeals to their fine sense of awareness
then they accept the idea, if not they discard it with no
regret.
Aquarian's
are easy spirits and responsible and capable at work and in
family matters so they are usually very successful people,
especially if they have an able spouses. They are super colorful
and always interested in everything … this is despite their
innate curiosity about life and people and the why things
work this way. Aquarian's have an energy that draws people
in … HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all you Aquarian's.

What
the Planets are Doing...
THE
SUN ENTERS AQUARIUS on Monday, January 19th, bringing
us a taste of relief and the need to have more leeway in our
lives. The day is shared with the celebration of Dr. Martin
Luther King's day. The need to run free is especially profound
during this time.
There is a Solar Eclipse on January 25th, which
sets the trend for the next six months. Where ever Aquarius
is in your chart is where you will feel this energy. If it hits
a planet in your chart, then you will feel the effects deeply.
On February 4th Mars enters Aquarius and gives
us Aquarians a boost in energy. We can become more directed
in our aspirations.
It
then makes a conjunction to Jupiter on February 17th
which can offer us greater opportunity for growth and development.
It can also allow us to want to start up a new project.
Mercury stations and goes direct on January 31st.
What a breather and a grateful way to end the month.
On February 5th there is a Saturn/ Uranus conjunction
opposition. This can have the effect of breaking old patterns.
To get a better overview go to www.lunarplanner.com
and see my friend Nick’s detailed description of the aspect
and all the energies that surround this event. There many new
small planets that comprise this event and give it a greater
effect. This opposition is in another hard aspect to the Moon
giving it an even greater impact. The Moon rules the public
as well as the feminine energy in all of us. Power, power and
more power.
There
is Lunar Eclipse on February 9th very early in the
morning at 6.49 am PST. This is a great time for letting go
of unnecessary things, people etc. in our lives. You might also
see what the previous eclipse has in store for you, but don't
count
on it.
On
Valentines Day, Mercury goes into Aquarius, where it
will be very happy. It loves being in this very intellectual
sign so it can expand its knowledge and go anywhere with it's
mind.
There
is a lot happening this month so hang on for the ride.
