Tom
Cruise is a Cancer with his Sun in the ninth house
of religion. His religion is very important to him
as he is a Scientologist. The religion seems to be
strict in their values and ideals which he apparently
takes quite seriously. This is an admirable trait
in any person.
Tom
has three planets in Leo at the top of his chart giving
him the needed energy to be in the spotlight. His
Moon in Leo, just less than thirty degrees from this
Sun, gives him more energy to accomplish his goals.

This
Moon is conjunct the Midheaven or top of the chart, giving
him the natural ability to appeal to women … and, does
he ever! His Venus is widely conjunct the Midheaven, in the
ninth house of career and status in the world. Venus in this
placement gives him the ability to earn a great income and
still have the public love him. Tom has Uranus in the tenth
house also in Leo, which has a hard aspect to Mars. This gives
him a devil may care attitude, and also has the ability for
somewhat dangerous situations. I think he uses this natural
talent for his movies where he can play a dangerous character
easily.
Tom’s
Moon is in opposition to Saturn …. which can creative
feelings of insecurity and a feeling of being unlovable. His
elusive nature seems to have conquered this but I think that
this aspect is a life-long struggle to achieve success and
stability. This aspect gives him the ability to be acutely
sensitive, which he can use in his acting career as well as
in his home life.
Tom
also has his Jupiter in opposition to Pluto. This is an aspect
that allows him to be compulsive about his religion. We know
that he has this in his life as he is dogmatic about his religion.
This aspect also gives him a huge ego. This is not necessarily
bad considering he is in show business where it is almost
necessary for a huge ego to survive. This is another aspect
to this configuration … he needs to learn boundaries.
Tom is married to Katie Holmes and has a daughter, Suri. He
has two adopted childrenwith his previous wife, Nicole Kidman.
