Our celebrity this month is Paul Abdul of American Idol. She is a Gemini and has Mercury in Gemini also and she often speaks before she thinks. Her mind races and yet it is in the eighth house so she can be a deep thinker as well. She has Libra rising so she really is a people pleaser. The ruler of her ascendant (Libra) is in Venus which is in her tenth house of career and status in the world. Venus is also in Leo making her a bit magnanimous. Venus is not too happy as she opposes Saturn. This is a very hard aspect to live with. It makes her feel unloved often and really can’t take criticism or rejection. Self love is important for her. Paula’s Mars opposes Neptune which just gives her more creativity. It also makes her more sensitive to criticism. She has a tough chart but seems to have overcome much difficulty during her childhood.

Moons. Discipline and hard work were what her mom taught her
early in life. The Moon lives in the fourth house giving her
a strong sensitive nature.
Paula
can be a bit stubborn with five planets in fixed signs but
that just gives her the ability to handle difficult situations.
She needs to be in the public eye as she has six planets above
the horizon.
Paula’s
career started as a L.A. Laker cheerleader and after a few
months became head cheerleader/choreographer. She choreographed
the Jackson ’s “Torture” video and that
was the first in a long list of videos/movies that she would
choreograph. Paula later branched out into singing having
two #1 hit albums and seven #1 singles. Her awards include
a Grammy, 2 Emmy’s, 2 People’s Choice Awards and
has a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. She has been married
