A respected member of our community of comedians, Jay is a Taurus with his Sun in the second house of our earned income. He has certainly fulfilled his dream of becoming a very wealthy man. But interestingly enough his Mercury in Taurus is placed in the house of communications. This house placement gives him an excellent mind and an uncanny memory. Mercury is in good aspect to his Mars which just adds flavor to his ability to cut through nonsense with great wit. |

He has Aquarius rising allowing him to get away with much through his quick wit. Aquarian’s are conservative and he fits that description. He also has a Saturn Moon conjunction in the sign of Virgo, in his seventh house of partnership relationships, adding a more serious role to his relationship. He can get rather analytical about his emotions.
The ruler of his midheaven (career and status in the world) is in his first house. The sign on this house is Sagittarius and Jupiter is placed in the first house close to the ascendant, giving him an optimistic approach to life. He gets up happy most mornings and loves people. This also keeps him watching his weight as he loves to eat.
With both Venus and Jupiter in Pisces, he has a very creative side to his life. They are also in the first house of our persona. The North Node is in Aries in the first house, also, and making him a candidate willing to strike out on his own in a daring way. I think his motorcycles lend him that daring part of his personality.
He is in a competitive business and is very successful at being his own man.
He is a very private man that rarely gets publicity on himself or his wife, Mavis Nicholson. Jay began his career in night clubs where he worked 300 nights a year before hitting it big in 1992. He is a 1972 graduate of Emerson College in Boston .
